Docs Gallery

Privacy policy

Effective October 5, 2026

Docs Gallery is a document library that keeps your files on your phone. This policy explains what the app stores, what leaves your phone, and why.

Your documents stay on your phone

Backups

You can export an encrypted backup file and save it wherever you choose, such as iCloud Drive, Google Drive, or a computer. The file is encrypted with a recovery key that only you hold. Where you save it is governed by that service's own privacy policy. We cannot open your backup and cannot recover a lost recovery key.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment details.

We use RevenueCat to check whether you have an active purchase. RevenueCat receives:

RevenueCat does not receive your documents or anything stored in them. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

What we do not do

Permissions

The camera and photo library are used only when you choose to add a document. Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode is checked by your device to unlock the app; the app never sees your biometric data. Notification permission is used only for expiry reminders.

Deleting your data

Delete a document in the app, or delete the app to remove everything stored on the device. To ask about purchase records held by RevenueCat, contact us.

Children

Docs Gallery is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above.
